Friends

Good morning! I was expecting nice and sunny day (I guess your dreams are not meant to come true in lovely UK as it is raining most of the time) but can not complain so far. I woke up quiet early today as I had my boy (great, not I am possessed) staying over. Well he came last night after work at around midnight so spend 6 hours with him (hey, I know what you are thinking. We just slept today, nothing more) while having good chat about anything and enjoying some snacks (shame on me. I ate after 6 p.m. which I am trying to avoid). Started the morning with some “Sex and the City”, subscribed ELLE (this is my new vice, can not get enough of it and always waiting for new issue), done some shopping on eBay (general stuff like Airwick refills, Venus blades etc.) and now thinking of doing something but not sure what so meanwhile decided to write something. Did I tell you that I am going to do some Tarot card reading today? (I never have done it so feeling a bit excited). I also have an interview today with one of the vintage online store (fingers crossed), I also want to finally make it to The Little Black Gallery today (was planning it last week and still haven’t been there). Yesterday went to see my friend C. who used to work with me but now is working for Cathay Pacific (bless her, she gave me good deal on my tickets to Asia which I am always going to be thankful for). I added a picture of one of the island I went to (I wish I could be there now)...

It is great to catch up with your friends and I have noticed that since I moved to London I kind of lost the touch with my friends (it is the situation caused by both parties): I better go and meet my boy, do some stuff on my own, read or shop – they have excuses: money (I am not a millionaire either, so this is not an excuse), relationships (well fair enough, I do the same now), travel/time (it is only 30 minutes by train!). I really miss some people I used to hang out with but even if you try to keep in touch and some of them don’t put an effort, it is not more likely it is going to work, you need collaboration (team work is essential). I hope to visit my friend in Frankfurt (I haven’t seen him for 2 long years!), no excuses this time. Having friends all over the world is great – you can easily combine travel and friendship (I don’t mean using them for free accommodation/meal but if they insist, I don’t say no), so bring it on, I will be true friend and going to plan a visit or two per month on my days off to go somewhere (especially if it is Italy or Spain as I love sun, beach and good company).
